Weekday Forum Group

This is intended as a supplement to our Sunday worship and for anyone who is not content to sit and listen, who would like to comment, even to answer back to what he/she hears from the pulpit or reads, be it in the Bible or elsewhere. Our aim is to look forward both from a personal and communal (church) point of view; we include Bible exploration and continue, for the time being, the work of the former Prayer Group.

Our approach could be summarised as follows:

• Life is a quest for truth in a loving relationship with our 'Father'
• This quest will bring new insights and changes to our thinking
• The 'old days' are not for nostalgia but a springboard for going forward
• In all this we depend on God's grace and guidance

The meetings are open to all, from inside, or even outside, Central URC. No booking: just arrive !

We meet in one of the rooms at Central at 2.15 pm on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. To be sure of dates please see the church magazine or check with Chris Scott (01332 331413).
